British Technical Films has twenty years experience in 3D and is fully equipped to meet the technical and filming needs of a rapidly expanding 3D market.
CUBE RIG (COMMON OBJECTIVE SYSTEM)
The BTF CUBE RIG is able to produce 3D imaging through a single lens.
The rig is compatible with either B4 or C mount cameras. LMP HD1200 cameras suppled by www.espritfilm.co.uk have been successfully proven with this system. An array of lenses options including straightscope and periscope is available. The quality of the images and the geometry produced are quite outstanding.
The Cube rig has been built using the highest quality glass available. The on screen results have an amazingly natural feel and fall well within expected 3D geometry standards. see below you will need red cyan anaglyph glasses...
BTF MICRO RIG
With the ever decreasing size of cameras BTF has designed and built the BTF MICRO RIG, which is currently our smallest mirror rig to date. Standing next to a 50p piece you can see how small and manageable this setup is. Great for confined and close up work but also an obvious choice for light weight jibs or steadycams.
The top camera has convergence, height, tilt and roll adjustment.
The bottom camera is where you set your IO.
You can also adjust height and convergence if needed.
PHANTOM MIRROR RIG
British Technical Films offers a specially designed 3D rig for High-Speed, High-Definition and 3D shoots. The BTF 3D mirror rig was designed and built with Phantom HD Gold Cameras in mind www.greendoorfilms.co.uk. The unit is built in aluminium and stainless steel to maintain high rigidity within a compact design.
SI2k MIRROR RIG
We also offer the new SI2k rig which is also compatible with other small high definition cameras . It is engineered from the same light but strong CNC machined aluminium as the Phantom rig. It is very small and compact and is ideal for use with Steadycam , time lapse, jibs and confined spaces.
